Christmas In The Barn 1000 Piece Glitter Effect Jigsaw Puzzle

I didn't mind the glitter on this puzzle. It did make it a bit challenging to figure out where the piece would go. It came out nice and glittery.

Sooo disappointed. The picture does not show the animals faces and heads covered in HEAVY gold glitter or the tree in heavy green glitter. The glitter is so heavy that it is gaudy and takes away from beauty of the theme. It also makes the pieces hard to identify. I tried but was unable to scrape the glitter off.

I didn't realize this was a glitter puzzle because the picture shown on the website is of the original artwork, minus the glitter. That was a little deceptive. Read the title/description carefully. The glitter covers up the detail and beauty of the original picture and makes the puzzle more difficult. This was my first Bits and Pieces puzzle. I enjoyed the unique puzzle pieces, but the glitter was a huge disappointment. Minus 3 stars just because of the glitter. Otherwise, I would have given 5. I look forward to doing another Bits and Pieces puzzle because I loved the unique shapes and good quality; but NO glitter for me.

I loved the artwork by Barbara Behr, as it was displayed on the website, with no glitter and her original colors. I didn't realize I was purchasing a glitter puzzle. I finished the puzzle, but I didn't like the glitter at all. It obscured detail and made the puzzle harder. It took away a lot of the beauty and character of the artwork. This was my first Bits and Pieces puzzle and the uniquely shaped pieces made it fun to put together, despite the glitter. I subtracted 3 stars because of the glitter and because I felt deceived by the nice, non-glitter artwork that was advertised on the page. I'd like to do another Bits and Pieces puzzle sometime, because I enjoyed the shapes and quality. But I'll be very careful to avoid the Glitter Magic puzzles.
