Solar panel quit after 2 weeks

Workmanship of the Hummingbird was very good, real feathers were a nice touch. After about the second week, Hummingbird no longer """"fluttered"""". It will flutter if I install a battery, but the solar panel no longer works. Very disappointing after just a couple weeks.
