Here's a venerable challenge that could humble even a Japanese emperor. The object is to remove the pieces one by one without the spring loaded arm sending the other pieces flying. Accumulate points by pulling and collecting coloured pieces. Play solo or compete with other players. Measures 29cm x 18cm. Recommended for ages 8+.

I had this game as a kid, under a different name, and it was such fun! It's not unlike Jenga in the way it's played, except the larger pieces are worth more points. We played that the winner was whoever had the most points when it went kablooey. I'm ordering this but don't have it yet, so I can't comment on the quality of this version. I'll update this review when I have the product, but wanted to encourage anybody to try this game. It works fine for 2 players and would even be interesting played alone. I think it would be awkward for more than 4 or 5 players, since you can't pass the board around without risking jiggling the spring. When somebody removes a piece that's under tension, the spring-loaded bar snaps across the board, and everything goes flying (that's how it's like Jenga).
The game can be played at a table or on the floor. Also an easy distractor when children are getting tired.
